分享要点 5 – 体式名称的内涵与意义 — utkatasana(俗称“幻椅式”)

“It is called ‘utkatasana’,
what is ‘utkata’?
‘utkata’,is sublimation.
It is something when you say wholeheartedly,
you are genuine in your expression,
emotional expression,
you are appreciating someone genuiningly,
and not just out of surface.
When you say from the heart, it is utkata.

这个体式名叫utkatasana,
词根‘utkata’是何意?
‘utkata’,
即心灵受到洗涤、救赎、圣化。
那是你发自内心时产生的东西,
你在你的表达里饱含真切之情,
充满情感,
你在真心感谢谁的时候也是,
不是出自表面敷衍,
当你从心底说出来的时候,
那就是‘utkata’。

Why sublimation here in ‘utkatasana’?
why sublimed-asana?
Emergencies.
How would you become sublimed?
Only to take resort to God.
When you think of God,
that kind of thought is particular kind of thought,
it is psycho-mental thought,
but when you are in difficulty,
you will “Oh! God!!!”
What is that?

那为何在utkatasana里会获得圣化呢?
它为何是一个得到圣化的体式?
是因为出现了危机情况。
你会在何时变得圣洁起来?
只有当你向神的时候,
“向神”,
的确会是一种特殊的想法,
但那只是心理-精神方面的想法,
而当你深陷绝境,
你会喊出“哦,神啊!”
那又是什么?

So there is feeling behind it,
you know you can only take this resort,
and it is the last resort and you say:
‘Oh, God!!!’
Sublime condition.

所以它背后是有感情色彩的,
你知道,
当你只能求助于这个,
那是最后的求助方式时,
你会说:
“哦, 神啊!”
这就是在被圣化。

So when emergency is in such degree,
when you are really helpless, hapless, hopeless,
what would you do?
‘Oh, God!!!’
‘Oh, No!!!’
‘Oh, God!!!’
‘Help me!!!’
It is the last resort.

所以当危机情况到了如此地步,
当你无助、无望、无援之际,
你会怎么办?
“哦,神啊!”
“哦,不!”
“哦,我的神!”
“救救我吧!”
那会是最后的求助方式。

When that is the resort, only resort, last resort,
you will really be sublimed.
you should be sublimed.
You should not think ‘Oh God’ by cursing the God
whatever done to me.
There should be no ‘damnation’, oh God! ***
because there could be damnation, Oh, God! ***
No!
when it is the last resort, you will be sublimed.

The most blamed is the powerful on the earth,
yet remains balanced,
never revenge…
 世上遭埋冤最多的,
恰是那个最有力量的,
但神却始终不偏不倚,
从不报复···

当那是求助方式时,
唯一的、最后的方式时,
你就会得到圣化,
你也应该得到圣化。
你那个时候不该去诅咒神,
“神啊,看你都对我做了什么”
不该爆粗口, “哦,神啊! ***”
是会这样说的,“哦,神啊! ***”
但不要这样说。

So to see if you take chemical dimension,
somebody taking the angelation awful.
Bending forward, look straight.
So emergency looks for something to escape
which is perhaps not justifiable,
you try to flee the sight etc.

看看如果你进入化学维度,
你们有些人膝盖弯曲的角度实在很糟糕,
弯曲膝盖,向前看!
不要有了危机就想逃跑,
那是不正当的,
你想逃开这个视线。

Facing the emergency,
not fleeing from the emergency.
That is why the name utkatasana.
(在“幻椅式”里),

要去直面危机,
不要逃离危机,
那就是为何这个体式被命名为ukatasana。

Look in <Light on Yoga>,
there are so many asanas,
that you will have different breathing
for you to see:
how the chemical processes will be there.

去看看《瑜伽之光》,
那里有许多体式,
你会拥有不同的呼吸过程,
那是为了让你看到:
体式里化学变化的过程。

分享要点 6 – Don’t be obsessed with perfection of the body or posture. 没有所谓完美体式。

“Sooner or later,
 you will know what is Yoga.
Suppose you perfect body in all degrees in various asanas,
it will be confined to ground and fire at the end of your life.
It will not go hand in hand with you.
Do not madly perfect your body during the lifetime,
even if you perfect it,
it is corporeal, material,
it does not transmigrate with you.”

你迟早会知道什么是瑜伽,
假设你在各种体式里、
在所有程度上,
都让这个身体达到完美,
但是,在你生命的终点,
它还是会化为泥土、烧成灰烬,
它不会与你手牵着手、一起走。
不要在你的一生里
疯狂地去追求身体的完美,
纵使你再怎么去完美它,
它也不过是肉身之躯、实相之身,
它不会随同你一起转世···

分享要点 7 – Why don’t we say ‘foot the responsibilities’ or ‘leg the responsibilities’,  but ‘shoulder the responsibilities’?
为什么我们不说“脚负重任”、“腿负重任”,而是“肩负重任”?

Give a little psychological input here:
you want somebody a very responsible person,
what is the root of responsibility?
or the sense of responsibility?
Yog psychologist says,
memory.
If you don’t have memory,
how would you be responsible person?

在这儿给你们输入一个心理上的说法,
你希望某人是一个很负责任的人,
那负责任的根基是什么?
责任感是什么?
瑜伽心理学说:
记忆。

Abhi,
she should have the memory
what she is to me,
and what I am to Abhi;
if she does not have the memory
as to who she is to me,
and who I am to her,
if she loses the memory,
will she be a responsible person?
Memory,
as the important psychological factor.

阿碧,
应该记住她对于我而言是什么,
我对于她来说是什么,
如果她对她是我的谁
以及我是她的谁
都丧失了记忆,
她还会是一个负责任的人吗?
记忆,
是一个重要的精神要素。

I want to be conscientious,
that I want all of you conscientious,
what is the root of being conscientious?
if she has no responsibility;
how could she be a conscientious person?
So the root of the responsibility is memory.
Now where did you get that memory?
Asanas give you that memory.

我想成为一个有担当的人,
我希望你们全都是有担当的人,
但担当的根基是什么?
如果她没有担当,
她又如何成为一个有良心之人?
但她如何才能成为一个有良心之人?
所以责任的根基是记忆,
那么你在何处获得这个记忆?
体式就会赋予那个记忆。

We have this expression:
we have to ‘shoulder the responsibilities’.
Nobody says:
we must ‘foot/leg the responsibilities’.

我们有这个一个表达方式:
“我们要肩负重任”。
没有人会说:
我们要“脚/腿负重任”。

The potential or manifestation of responsibility
are conscience.
It is to be traced in shoulders.
You can very well treat that in shirshasana.
For a short while,
go to shirshasana.

责任的潜质和表现
就是良知/良心,
那要在肩膀里去寻找它的踪迹,
你可以在头倒立里去好好培养它,
现在短暂进入头倒立。

So you must understand
how much the shoulders are sense of responsibility.
Shirshasana opens out the field
for your shoulders to be responsible.
Shoulders are imbibing,
inculcating
evolving
the potentials to be responsible,
responsible person/psyche;
otherwise you will say:
it is skeleton-muscular action/negotiation,
the shoulders should be lifted,
shoulders should be wide, etc.

因此你必须理解:
肩膀在多大程度上成为了承载责任的器官,
头倒立打开了一片天地,
让你的肩膀担得起责任。
肩膀

在吸收、
在训练、
在提升,

这个有担当、负责任的潜质;
否则,
你会说:
那只是骨骼-肌肉行为/调整,
肩膀该上提,肩膀该展宽等等。

But in Iyengar System,
how much is attended to shoulders?
Try to understand those points
to be attended to shoulders.
It is not just lifting and widening.

但是在艾扬格体系里,
对肩膀的重视程度有多么地大?
尝试去理解那些针对肩膀的要点,
那绝非只是在上提和展宽。

So you carry out the experiment
in this line, in this channel I am suggesting,
that how far the shoulders
will give you a typical psyche.
You will definitely become a responsible person
in consciousness, in your psyche matters.
Why?
Shirshasana of Iyengar System,
not shirshasana of any other systems.
because it is attended to shoulders.

你要在这条线上进行实验,
在这条我建议的渠道里实验,
肩膀到底可以给你多大程度的精神提升。
你确定会在意识里、
在精神的组成部分上,
成为一个有责任心的人,
为什么?
因为艾扬格体系的头倒立,
不是任何其他体系里的头倒立,
因为这个体式非常重视肩膀。

Now why in English
“you should shoulder your responsibilities”?
ecause the shoulders are carrying your brain.
And if you have a brain,
you must be very responsible person
to be carrying the brain;
you cannot be irresponsible,
and yet to have a brain over your shoulders.
Because you know:
the brain is so unscrupulous,
unpredictable,
and shoulders are carrying the brain over them.

英语里为何会有“你该肩负重任”?
因为肩膀扛着你的脑袋,
如果你有脑,
你就一定是一个扛着脑袋、
很有责任感的人,
你不可能是这样的:
你肩扛大脑,
却又不是一个负责任的人。
因为你知道:
这个脑袋不靠谱,
不可理喻,
而肩膀却将这个脑袋依然扛在它的上面。

And the shoulders must be responsible
because they are carrying the irresponsible brain over them.
Brain is 

unscrupulous,
crafty,
wicked,
irresponsible,

that is why we have hurricane in our life.
Understand the contribution of shoulder
for you to have sense of responsibility,
and Yog understands these best,
and therefore ‘head-stand’.

肩膀一定很有责任感,
因为它们把不靠谱的脑袋扛在上面,
大脑是

不可理喻的,
是诡计多端的,
是狡猾的,
是不靠谱的,

那就是为何
我们会在我们的生活里遭遇狂风暴雨。
去认清肩膀的贡献,
瑜伽因为深知这些,
所以让我们“站在头上”——头倒立

Now the shoulders are not connected to the responsibility,
but as you stand on your head,
particularly in Iyengar system,
because in other system, just stand on your head.
But how much we attend to shoulders in shirshasana?
The shoulders will develop the potentials
and surface the potentials,
to carry brain over them.
They cannot be connected with the brain
as they are connected in shirshasana.

肩膀平时并没有与责任感直接联结在一起,
但一旦你站在了你的头上,
尤其是在艾扬格体系里,
因为在其他体系,你只是站在头上而已,
但我们对头倒立里的肩膀是如何给予重视的?
肩膀会开发出潜质,
会让潜质浮出表面,
会托举着大脑···
它们不会与大脑有如此紧密的联结,
但在头倒立中却产生了这样的联结。
英语里不说:

foot your responsibilities,
脚负重任,
leg your responsibilities,
腿负重任,
buttock/hip your responsibilities,
臀起/髋起你的重任。
Maybe he was born in India,
that is why such expression came in English.
也许发明那个说法的人生于印度,
所以这样的表达方式才进入了英语。

See how shoulders contribute in shirshasana,
they don’t contribute in savangasana,
in urdhva danurasana.
So it will work on your memory,
which is improved in shirshasana.

看看肩膀在头倒立里做了多少贡献,
它们在肩倒立,
在上弓式
都没有这样的贡献,
所以它会作用在你的记忆上,
而记忆,
则会在头倒立中得到改善和提高。

Blood supply?
No!
It is only in modern world.
Shoulder-brain connectivity,
shoulder-responsibility connectivity.

(头倒立会增加)血液的供给?
不是的!
那只是现代社会的说法,
头倒立,
是肩膀与大脑的联结,
是肩膀与责任的联结。

This relationship in shirshasana is unique,
it works on infrastructure of it:
memory—responsibility—conscience.

头倒立中的这对关系是独特的,
它作用在它的结构上:
记忆——责任——良知。

You have to be a responsible person
to be carrying my 

ten million rupees
or jewlry
or diamond.

Shoulders are carrying the most precious brain over them.

你必须是一个负责任的人,
才能承担起携带我

千万卢布
珠宝
钻石

的重任,
肩膀上,
就扛着我们最珍视的东西。

WHAT IS THE ROOT OF BEING RESPONSIBLE,
BEING CONSCIENCE?
STUDY THE YOG PSYCHOLOGY!

什么是责任感、
良知的根基?
去研究一下瑜伽心理学吧。

Do you know very intelligent person,
with a very poor memory?
Not possible.

你们认识一个特别智慧的人,
但却有着很差的记忆力?
那是不可能的。

The memory is a underline factor.
Somebody,
very conscientious/responsible person,
memory underline it.

记忆是它后面的要素,
某人很有良知,很负责任,
这背后一定是记忆。


In Yog psychology,
memory comes as enormous aspect.

在瑜伽心理学中,
记忆占据着很大的层面。
